"Listening Beyond Sight" draws inspiration from Nydia, the Blind Girl of Pompeii, the celebrated sculpture by Randolph Rogers. Created using a single-colored pencil, this study explores the expressive power of light, shadow, and value alone. The gentle tilt of her head and hand raised to her ear evoke a quiet moment of heightened awareness, reminding us that perception extends far beyond what we see.
Presented in an ornate black hardwood frame with a single mat, this original artwork invites the viewer to slow down and experience a quiet moment.
