About the
Artist

I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is an elementary school project where we designed our own business cards. Without hesitation, I wrote "Artist" beneath my name. Even then, I knew creating art was part of who I was.

Today, I live in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where the changing seasons, local wildlife, and everyday beauty of the natural world provide endless inspiration for my work. Whether it's the texture of a flower petal, the personality of an animal, or the quiet elegance of an ordinary object, I'm drawn to the details that often go unnoticed.

That passion led me to study Fashion, where I developed an appreciation for design, texture, color, and craftsmanship. After college, I worked in the fashion industry in both New York City and Pennsylvania, but over time I realized I missed the quiet satisfaction of creating something with my own hands. My creative path eventually led to a decorative painting business specializing in faux finishes and murals before life shifted its focus to raising my two daughters.

When life slowed down and my daughters grew older, I found my way back to drawing and rediscovered what I had been missing. What began with commissioned pet portraits has since evolved into a broader exploration of the natural world—wildlife, flowers, fruit, and still life subjects that reveal extraordinary beauty when we take the time to truly observe them.

Working primarily in colored pencil and mixed media, I build each piece through countless layers, allowing depth, texture, and realism to emerge one pencil stroke at a time. My goal is not simply to recreate a subject, but to celebrate its character and invite others to see familiar things with fresh eyes.

When I'm not in my studio, you'll often find me hiking local trails, spending time with my family, or enjoying the company of my two cats and my daughters' rabbit. I'm also eagerly looking forward to adding a flock of eight chickens to our home. Being surrounded by animals and nature continually fuels my creativity and reinforces the inspiration behind my work.

My hope is that my artwork sparks curiosity, encourages a closer look, and reminds us that beauty is all around us—one pencil stroke at a time.
