"Gathered Light" is a mixed media botanical study created with pastel, watercolor, and colored pencil on sanded paper, celebrating the graceful movement and quiet elegance of a spring bouquet. A luminous white garden rose and delicate freesia emerge from a dramatic dark background, where flowing stems and sculptural forms create a striking contemporary composition. Finished in a brushed black metal frame, this piece balances softness with bold contrast, bringing timeless beauty and modern sophistication to any space.
